Dr. Lisa Dorsey is the co-founder and President of Eloquentia Consulting. She currently holds the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training in the Doisy College of Health Sciences at Saint Louis University. Previously, she served as the Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education, Dean for the Doisy College of Health Sciences, Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs and Associate Dean for Graduate Education for the Doisy College of Health Sciences, and the Director of the Program in Health Sciences at Saint Louis University.
She has completed a number of research and scholarship projects exploring physical therapy intervention for neurological impairment, higher education organizational structure, student success models in physical therapy and women in leadership and the workplace. Her current and most recent research projects are related to leadership development and self-efficacy for women in higher education. She is engaged in the profession of physical therapy at the national level as the Chair for the Task Force on Graduate Outcomes, in higher education as an accreditation reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission, and serves her local community as the Secretary for the Board of Education in the Mehlville School District.
She was the recipient of the Saint Louis University Woman of the Year Award in 2016, the Student Development Collaborative Partner Award, the Faculty Commitment to Experiential Learning Leadership & Service Award, and has been a Saint Louis University- YWCA Leader in the Workplace. Dr. Dorsey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy and a Master’s in Business Administration from Saint Louis University, a PhD in Educational Policy and Administration in Higher Education from the University of Minnesota and a Women and Power: Leadership in the New World certificate from the Harvard Kennedy School.

Dr. Jessica Perolio is the co-founder and the Vice President of Eloquentia Consulting. During her tenure as the President of the Saint Louis University Women’s Commission, Dr. Perolio lead an executive board that offers programming relevant to women in higher education, recognizes women leaders on campus, and connects female employees through networks. Specifically, she initiated a mentorship workshop series with the support of leadership in HR, administered an inaugural grant program to support professional development goals of faculty, staff, and students, and hosted a university-wide leadership recognition event.
Her scholarship and research interests center around exploring mentorship, efficacy, and growth; women’s professional development trajectories; and writing pedagogy, writing support, and critical thinking assessment. She is currently a co-investigator on Pathways of Leader Self-efficacy for Women in Higher Education and a past co-investigator on Women Leading Women: Strategies and Support for Lifelong Career Development in Higher Education.
Dr. Perolio currently serves as the Director for International Student Support and Programming at Northeastern University. Through this role, she oversees student mentorship networks and provides cultural relevant programming and support to a population of 13,000 international students. As the past Director of Saint Louis University’s Honors Program, she provided leadership for strategic planning, curriculum development, assessment, faculty engagement, and personnel development. Previously, she served as the Program Director of Academic Support where she oversaw the writing center at Saint Louis University. Dr. Perolio earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and French from Webster University, a Master's of Arts in English with a Graduate Certificate in Women’s Studies from Saint Louis University, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Saint Louis University.
